AMR Buffalo is hiring Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs) to respond to emergency and non-emergency requests, delivering high-quality care, treatment, and customer service to patients in Buffalo, NY.

Starting pay is $22.04 per hour and up, based on experience. Orientations are planned for late August and late September 2026, with opportunities for paid books, uniforms, and tuition while you study toward your Paramedic license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• State Driver’s License and EMT-B certification.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• Pass PAT and maintain driving record per policy.
• Healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients, determine care needs, and deliver EMS with proper techniques and equipment.
• Document patient information while protecting confidentiality.
• Maintain safe, clean, stocked environment for patients.
• Use appropriate skills for care including communication and equipment operation.
• Operate ambulance in line with safety policies and traffic laws.
• Collaborate with allied health and public safety personnel.
