Why This Role Exists
Pesty Marketing works only with pest control companies doing $1M+ in annual revenue. We're scaling quickly, and our paid media systems must deliver consistent performance as we grow.
Last year, we generated $2M in revenue. This year, we're on track to reach $3M. As we scale, paid media plays a critical role in driving predictable lead flow for our clients.
This role exists to ensure account-level performance consistency as volume increases, so CPL stays efficient, lead quality remains high, and paid media continues to be a reliable growth channel instead of a risk factor.
For the right person, this is an opportunity to own real budgets, work inside a mature system that values data and judgment, and grow into a Senior Paid Media Manager role.
Mission
Own the Google Ads performance of a portfolio of pest control clients, so every budget produces qualified leads at a predictable cost.
Outcomes
In 12 months, an A Player in this role consistently delivers:
- Non-branded Google Ads cost per qualified lead (CPQL) meets or beats the comparable LSA CPQL, capped at $150, in 80%+ of accounts
- Spend stays at or below 103% of approved budget in 90%+ of client-months, and overspending causes account-wide pauses in 5% or fewer
- At least 90% of approved budget is deployed in 80%+ of client-months
- An impression-weighted average Quality Score of 7+ on non-branded keywords in 80%+ of accounts
- Each year, every client gets a budget recommendation and a lead-volume projection, and 80%+ approve both in writing
- Offline customer conversions and live Customer Match lists running in 80%+ of accounts
Consistently Exceptional ratings in our Continuous Feedback System and strong account performance earn the next step: Senior Paid Media Manager.
Failure to protect lead quality or maintain performance consistency is considered underperformance.
