Job summary

P1 Construction, LLC is seeking an Intern for Mechanical Construction Projects for summer 2027 reporting to our Lenexa, Kansas office. This is a paid seasonal position.

Assists Project Managers with active projects to gain exposure to many functions of the construction contracting industry, supporting timely project completion and compliance with contract, budget, safety, and legal requirements. Enrollment verification will be conducted for the applicable degree program.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a college/university bachelor (4-year) degree program related to Construction or Mechanical Engineering.
• Must be at Freshman or higher college level at the time of employment application and have at least one semester remaining after summer 2027.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Managers with active projects to gain exposure to construction contracting functions.
• Support construction activities to help ensure timely project completion.
• Contribute to contract documents, budget, safety, statutory, and legal compliance.
