P1 Construction, LLC. is seeking a paid Intern for Electrical Construction Projects for summer 2027 reporting to our Lawrence, Kansas office.

This role offers exposure to project management, budgeting, safety, and contract documentation within a national construction environment. The intern will assist Project Managers on active projects, supporting timely completion and learning across multiple construction functions.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in a 4-year construction or electrical engineering degree; freshman or higher, with at least one semester remaining after Summer 2027.
• High school diploma or GED equivalence is required.
• Interest in pursuing a career in construction.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook.
• Must pass criminal background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle record checks.
• Must have a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with current insurance.

Aufgaben

• Assist Project Managers on active projects to gain exposure to multiple construction functions.
• Support on-time project completion and compliance with safety, statutory and contractual requirements.
• Research and assist with contract documents, budgets, and project-related compliance.
• Interns are paid employees of P1 Construction, LLC.
