Job summary

The Gathering of Southeast Wisconsin is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to capture and tell the organization’s story. The role involves visiting meal sites, posting photos and videos, and creating social media content while engaging staff and volunteers.

This paid internship offers approximately 15 hours per week with a flexible schedule and opportunities to build a portfolio through hands-on nonprofit marketing and storytelling.

Qualifications

• College student studying marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, digital media, photography, videography, graphic design, nonprofit management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Take high-quality photographs and short videos at meal sites, events, and activities.
• Create short-form video content for social media (reels, stories).
• Assist with content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, newsletters, and other channels.
• Develop creative ideas for posts, campaigns, donor recognition, and guest-impact stories.
