Kitchen Brains is offering a paid Manufacturing Engineer Intern position in Stratford, CT. The 8–12 week program focuses on observing manufacturing and assembly processes, creating clear process sheets, and compiling comprehensive work instructions for production staff.

Interns work under the direction of experienced Manufacturing Engineers, gathering technical data and learning how engineering partners with production, quality, and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a related engineering field (senior preferred).
• Coursework or project experience in manufacturing processes or documentation is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical information such as drawings and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Observe manufacturing and assembly processes to document steps and requirements.
• Create and update process sheets using approved templates and revision practices.
• Gather tools, materials, safety considerations, quality checks, and photos for accurate instructions.
• Review content with assigned Manufacturing Engineer and incorporate feedback before release.
