The Manufacturing Process Documentation Intern at Chamberlain Group will support Manufacturing Engineering, Quality and Safety by observing, documenting, and helping define processes across the plant. This highly collaborative role blends floor observations with structured documentation—SOPs, work instructions, and visual aids—to improve safety, quality, and operational consistency.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or process-focused field.
• Strong writing and documentation abilities.
• Experience with SOPs or process documentation is a plus.
• Comfortable in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Observe floor operations to understand how work is performed.
• Photograph and annotate processes with focus on safety and quality.
• Develop and standardize SOPs, work instructions, and visual aids.
• Identify safety-critical steps and quality checkpoints.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate documentation.
• Maintain records, version control, and traceability.
• Contribute to continuous improvements in documentation standards.
