Job summary

Niagara Bottling in Chester, VA, is launching a Maintenance Apprenticeship Program (MAP) for full-time, paid apprenticeships starting June 2027. Participants will learn to perform preventative maintenance, rebuild industrial machinery, and troubleshoot manufacturing equipment.

MAP includes formal classroom training and on-the-job experience, with a pay rate of $30/hr. Minimum qualifications include HS diploma or GED; travel up to 30% may be required; strong mechanical aptitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 2 years of maintenance or similar manufacturing experience.
• Reading blueprints & schematics; geometry and measuring with ruler/caliper.
• Mechanical aptitude with attention to detail and organization.
• Willing to travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Shadow operators and maintenance staff to learn PM and repair practices.
• Perform scheduled PMs on machinery.
• Assist with maintenance projects and machine rebuilds.
• Repair downed equipment during production shifts.
• Document learning activities and outcomes.
• Follow safety procedures and company rules.
• Attend OEM trainings and apply learnings.
• Complete daily responsibilities assigned by supervisor.
