Job summary

Wintrust Financial Corporation is offering a 12-week Summer Internship in the Legal department in Rosemont, IL. The program runs May through August and is a paid, in-person experience designed to expose interns to litigation, compliance, corporate and regulatory functions.

Interns will complete legal research and writing projects, assist with subpoena responses and contract reviews, and participate in regulatory compliance meetings while learning about the company’s brand and service goals.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in first year of law school; second year begins Fall 2026.
• GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
• Strong analytical, writing and communication abilities.
• Leadership with a results-driven mindset.

Responsibilities

• Perform legal research and writing projects; assist with subpoena responses and contract reviews.
• Participate in regulatory compliance meetings and related tasks.
• Engage with internal clients and support business objectives.
