Job summary

The District Attorney's Office invites law students to apply for paid internships in the Loveland and Fort Collins locations. For SPRING 2026 we seek 2Ls/3Ls or students with >60 credits; for SUMMER 2026 we seek rising 3Ls.

Interns will draft motions, perform research, and assist during trials, with 10–15 hours/week in spring and 30–40 hours/week in summer. Internships are available at County and District Court levels; flexible around class schedules during the school year.

Qualifications

• Must be currently in law school
• Spring 2026: 2L/3L or >60 credit hours; Summer 2026: rising 3Ls
• Internships available at Loveland and Fort Collins, County and District Court levels
• Internships may be 10–15 hours/week in spring and 30–40 hours/week in summer

Responsibilities

• Assist attorneys in assigned courtrooms or units
• Draft motions and conduct legal research
• Observe and learn the role of a practicing prosecutor
