Job summary

Weld County District Attorney's Office is seeking a part-time Legal Intern (Spring, Summer, Fall) for law students. Pay is $15.16 per hour. Responsibilities include attending arraignments, pre-trial and sentencing conferences, and assisting in trials under the Student Practice Act.

Ideal candidates are 2L/3L or JD with strong communication and analytical skills. Interns will work with the County Court Deputy, assist citizens by phone or in person, and must maintain reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Attend arraignments, pre-trial conferences, and sentencing conferences.
• Prepare and present jury trials and trials to the Court.

• Assist citizens by phone or in office.
• Work within the Student Practice Act authority.
• Maintain reliable attendance during assigned hours.
