Responsibilities

• Handle a docket of traffic and misdemeanor cases under supervision.
• Participate in all phases of trial practice, including voir dire, opening and closing statements, direct and cross-examinations.
• Appear in court to argue motions and sentencing matters, negotiate plea dispositions with defense counsel and defendants.
• Review active criminal cases, consult with victims, negotiate plea offers, and assist with trial preparation and trial performance.
• Support the People and ensure provability and proper information sharing with defense and law enforcement.
