Job summary

The Harris County District Attorney's Office is seeking Paid Interns for the Domestic Violence Division to support Attorneys and Administrative Assistants. Interns will manage case files, prepare dockets, and interact with the public. We expect candidates to be enrolled in an accredited law school, preferably in their second or third year.

This role offers a salary of $20.00 per hour for up to 25 hours per week, requiring at least 20 hours of commitment each week. All work is performed on-site, with no work from home available.

Qualifications

• Must have the ability to listen and follow basic instructions.
• Must keep a neat and tidy workspace and organize files.
• Familiarity with computer skills including email and document management.

Responsibilities

• Manage case files and assist Administrative Assistants and Attorneys.
• Prepare dockets for review by ADA.
• Communicate with the public via phone and in person.
