Responsibilities

• Represent the State of Texas in criminal proceedings in District, County and Family Courts.
• Work as a team player in a collaborative environment.
• Interact and consult with law enforcement at various stages from arrest through disposition.
• Interview and assist victims and witnesses through all stages of a case.
• Negotiate with the defense bar and evaluate case outcomes.
• Prepare cases for contested matters, including jury trials.
• Grow as an attorney and mentor junior prosecutors.
