Job summary

Textron IT is offering a 10-week summer internship in Augusta, GA, with paid stipends and mentorship. You will contribute to real IT projects, including BI, PLM, and teamcenter scripting, while gaining hands-on experience across systems and processes.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a Bachelor’s in IT or related field, with strong Excel skills and exposure to ERP systems, and a willingness to learn across Infrastructure, Security, SAP, PLM, and Analytics domains.

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field is required.
• Excel proficiency and exposure to ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist IT department in daily activities and special projects to learn IT functions and business objectives.
• Develop an automated scorecard to balance TSV goals and performance to established goals.
• Investigate current BI environment including servers, applications, software, and jobs to document TSV environment and its connection to CMBD.
• Work with PLM systems to update and create Teamcenter installation scripts and develop automated reports.
• Develop and implement customizations to TSV systems and platforms.
• Learn the Salesforce platform and develop admin understanding of tools.
• Learn the change control process through Salesforce and implement changes into production.
• Implement changes to developed platforms to reduce manual processes and support internal groups and customers.
• Gain exposure to business needs by developing and implementing processes and new technologies.
• Support Infrastructure, Security, SAP, PLM or Analytics as needed.
