Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles is offering a 10-week IT Programmer Intern position to gain hands-on experience within a global industrial environment. You’ll assist the IT department on daily activities and special projects to learn how IT supports business objectives, and you will develop automated reports and explore SAP, PLM, and Teamcenter environments.

The internship emphasizes mentorship, hands-on project work, and exposure to Salesforce administration, ERP systems, and change control

Qualifications

Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field required.
Strong Excel and ERP exposure preferred.
Learn Salesforce platform and develop admin understanding of tools.

Responsibilities

Assist IT dept in daily activities and special projects to learn IT function.
Develop an automated scorecard to balance TSV goals and performance.
Investigate current BI environment including servers, apps, and jobs to document TSV environment.
Work with PLM systems to update and create Teamcenter installation scripts and develop automated reports.
Learn the Salesforce platform and develop admin understanding of tools.
Learn the change control process through Salesforce and implement changes into production.
Implement changes to developed platforms to reduce manual processes.
Gain exposure to business needs by developing and implementing processes and new technologies.
Support Infrastructure, Security, SAP, PLM or Analytics as needed.
