Job summary

Agate is seeking a motivated intern to assist in creating game-ready 3D animations for characters, environments, and VFX. You will support rigging, animation integration, and in-game cinematics while collaborating with a cross-disciplinary team in a production‑oriented studio environment.

You will participate in reviews, iteration, testing, and learning opportunities under senior mentors, with emphasis on improving technical and artistic skills and meeting project milestones.

Qualifications

• Pursuing final-year or recent graduate in Animation, Game Development, Digital Arts, or related field.
• Portfolio or demo reel demonstrating animation skills is required.
• Willing to work full-time from the Agate Office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating game-ready 3D animations for characters, environments/props, and VFX.
• Support the creation and adjustment of rigs for 3D models under guidance of senior animators.
• Assist in producing and implementing in-game cinematic animations.
• Help integrate and set up animation assets in the game engine.
• Collaborate with Animators, Artists, Designers, Programmers, and Technical Artists to support animation production.
• Participate in animation reviews, iteration, testing, and implementation.
• Continuously improve animation skills through mentorship and project assignments.
