Qualifications

• Degree completed or in progress from Accredited Mortuary Science Program as required in the applicable state.
• Successful completion of the National Board Examination after internship completion.
• Successful completion of the applicable State Board Examination after internship completion.

Responsibilities

• Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies with professionalism and care.
• Care for the deceased including removal, embalming, cosmetology, hairstyling, dressing, and casketing.
• Build community relationships through local organizations and charitable events.
• Help promote and maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
• Follow all licensing regulations applicable to funeral service.
