Job summary

Coca-Cola Consolidated in Knoxville, TN is offering a Field Sales Internship for current college students to gain hands-on experience in Sales Operations within the CPGB industry.

You will support the local sales team in achieving sales targets, rotate through roles, shadow customers, and participate in LOS initiatives while learning the go-to-market strategy and cross-functional business exposure.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in accredited college or university and pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
• Previous sales or customer service experience is a plus.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain reliable transportation
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment (lifting 50 lbs)

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the local sales team and rotate with hands on experience through various roles to gain insight and exposure within the Sales & Service business function.
• Build relationships with customers and internal teammates through job shadowing and ride-alongs.
• Maintain daily communication with your manager, assigned mentors, and Sales Leaders for guidance and feedback.
• Attend Sales Operations team meetings to stay informed and engaged with the team’s activities and annual business objectives.
• Gain cross-functional exposure and business acumen knowledge through facility tours and shadow opportunities with other business function teammates.
