The Atlantic Council’s Global Energy Center (GEC) offers an internship program through its Young Global Professionals group. Interns gain experience in event planning, research, and publications processes while supporting the Center’s policy work on energy and climate policy.

Qualifications

• Must be a college junior, graduate student, or recent graduate.
• Strong interest in international affairs, energy, or climate policy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Aptitude in research and analytical writing.
• Strong planning, time management, and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Conduct research to support staff activities and projects.
• Coordinate logistics for program events and activities.
• Write correspondence and take notes at public events and strategy sessions.
• Draft analytical pieces for publication on GEC’s EnergySource blog.
