Job summary

SpartanNash is seeking a Supply Chain Distribution Operations Intern in Byron Center, Michigan. The 12‑week paid internship offers hands‑on experience across distribution centers, stores, and offices, with mentoring and professional development opportunities.

You will work with VPs, regional leaders and site directors to gain exposure to daily operations, data analysis, and process improvements while building relationships across departments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
• Minimum GPA around 3.0 expected.
• Majors in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Logistics or similar.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operations and administrative tasks within the assigned department.
• Support the preparation of presentations, reports and other documentation.
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and efficiency.
• Attend meetings, take notes, and contribute ideas and insights.
• Complete special projects and an end‑of‑internship presentation to demonstrate learning objectives.
• Gain hands‑on supply chain experience by supporting projects and tracking performance metrics.
