Commerce Bank is offering a paid data analyst internship in Kansas City, focusing on reporting, dashboards, and data analysis. The internship runs for 11 weeks from May 18, 2027, to July 30, 2027, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a mostly remote work arrangement.

The role provides valuable experience with best-in-class data analysts in banking, developing reporting and queries using databases and reporting software. In-office schedule is hybrid with two days per week on-site.

Qualifications

• Motivated to learn and apply data analysis concepts in real-world use cases.
• Basic understanding of SQL is strongly preferred.
• Exposure to PowerBI, Tableau, or data engineering concepts is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Write efficient data queries to support consumer lines of business analyses.
• Develop dashboards and analyses to support reporting needs.
• Compile data analysis and reporting for data analysts.
• Present data analysis summary results to team members and leadership.
