Job summary

GGP is seeking a motivated Intern to support our Leasing function at our Chicago office. You will work on a summer-long project and gain exposure across teams and senior leaders in commercial real estate.

You'll assist with data entry, market analysis, prospecting, and report preparation while developing professional skills in Excel, PowerPoint, and the leasing cycle within a dynamic retail real estate environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in college/university (Dec 2027–May 2028 graduation preferred).
• Self-motivated and proactive with respect to workload and development.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, creative, analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Argus/Dyna software highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a summer-long project analyzing demographics, sales, development and leasing activity across properties.
• Assist with tenant prospecting, lead generation and leveraging social media to source new concepts.
• Exposure to all parts of the dealmaking process and cross-functional interaction within the leasing cycle.
• Provide support for lease-related tasks including data entry and preparing reports and other lease documents.
• Other duties as assigned
