Job summary

GGP is seeking a Finance Intern to support the Finance function on project-based work during the summer. You will receive training, work on cross-departmental projects, and pair with a mentor to present findings to the executive leadership team.

This internship provides exposure to leasing economics, property NOI, and financial forecasting, with collaboration across Asset Management, Leasing, Accounting and Development teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Currently enrolled in College or University with a graduation between Dec 2027 - May 2028.
• Self-motivated and proactive in workload and professional development.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to prioritize to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate economics on speculative leasing assumptions at a space level.
• Review and understand shopping center financial operations, including tenant sales, occupancy costs and NOI health ratios.
• Conduct quarterly reviews and reforecasting of leasing revenue for properties and forecast accuracy.
• Review and help prepare monthly/quarterly metric reporting.
• Prepare annual modeling of 10-year cash flow projections using Argus Enterprise.
• Prepare quarterly valuation reports.
• Collaborate with Asset Management, Leasing, Accounting and Development teams.
• Prepare other financial analysis as required.

Job Description

As a Finance Intern, you will work largely on a project-based assignment supporting our Finance function. During the internship, individuals will receive training and work on various projects that directly impact the business. Summer interns are immediately a part of our collaborative culture and build enduring relationships with their fellow interns, manager, and an assigned mentor. Summer interns also have the opportunity to network with various professionals through organized social events. Finally, the intern will work with an assigned mentor to complete a project and present their findings with other interns to the executive leadership team.

Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate economics on speculate leasing assumptions at a space level
• Review and understand shopping center financial operations, including impact of tenant sales, occupancy costs and health ratios on property NOI

Compensation

• Salary type: Non-Exempt
• Pay Frequency: Bi-weekly
• Hourly Compensation: $22.50
