Constellation Energy Corp. invites students for a 2027 Corrosion & Process Engineering internship at the Geysers plant in Middletown, CA.

The 10-week program runs June 7 to August 13, offering hands-on experience under a supervisor and mentor while working in an industrial/power-plant setting. Interns will help monitor and optimize corrosion mitigation, learn data analysis, and develop engineering insights.

Qualifications

• Engineering coursework including Fluid Flow and Thermodynamics.
• Familiarity with VBA in Excel is preferred.
• Team work and strong writing/communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Geysers Steamfield Optimization in corrosion mitigation and steam scrubbing.
• Evaluate scrubbing performance of equipment and identify best practices.
• Review corrosion effects and prioritize pipe thickness repair.
• Support data analysis and model scrubbing performance for designs.
