Job summary

Constellation Energy Corp. seeks highly motivated Corrosion & Process Engineering interns for 2027 at the Geysers power plant, Middletown, CA. The 10-week paid internship runs 2027-06-07 to 2027-08-13, with work at the facility and outdoors.

Interns will work with the Steamfield Optimization team, gaining hands-on experience in evaluating corrosion mitigation and steam scrubbing systems, under supervision and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Completed coursework in Engineering Science with Chemical or Mechanical emphasis.
• Familiarity with VBA in Excel is desirable.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and teamwork aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist Steamfield Optimization team with monitoring and evaluating corrosion mitigation systems.
• Evaluate scrubbing performance and identify best practices.
• Review corrosion effects and prioritization of repairs.
• Model scrubbing performance for modified designs.
