Austin Commercial is seeking Construction Engineering Interns to gain hands-on, real-world experience on commercial construction projects under seasoned professionals. You will work directly with project teams and learn through mentoring from experienced engineers and supervisors.

Interns will receive training in industry-standard software, build their professional network, and contribute to submittals, RFIs, logs, and project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Have a hands-on career enhancing experience on commercial construction projects
• Work and learn from experts in the industry
• Receive training in and use industry-specific software
• Grow your professional network and skillset
• Processing submittals by reviewing, filing and distributing submittals
• Sending RFIs to architects and engineers
• Maintaining project look-ahead schedules
• Participating in weekly safety meetings and writing meeting minutes
