Austin Commercial invites students to join its Construction Engineering Internship Program across Texas, Arizona, Florida, and California. Interns gain hands-on experience on commercial construction projects and learn from industry professionals on a real-world site.

Internships are paid and offered for Fall 2026, Spring 2027, and Summer 2027, with opportunities at Phoenix and other project locations. Join as a Project Intern and contribute to submittals, RFIs, logs, and field coordination.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program in construction or engineering.
• Ability to work a 12-week full-time internship.
• U.S. work authorization or eligibility to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assist with submittals by reviewing, filing and distributing submittals.
• Send RFIs to architects and engineers.
• Maintain logs for concrete, rebar, RFIs and plans.
• Support quality control inspections and project documentation.
