Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Communications, PR, Marketing, Journalism, English or a related field.
• Expected graduation date Fall 2027 or Spring 2028.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with good grammar, spelling and punctuation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems preferred.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Solid attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Prior internship in communications or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in drafting, editing and proofreading communications materials (internal announcements, press releases, website content, social media posts, presentations).
• Support planning and execution of internal and external communication campaigns and events.
• Research industry trends, competitor activities and media coverage to inform strategies.
• Manage and update content on internal platforms and external channels.
• Collaborate with departments to gather information and ensure consistent messaging.
• Assist with media monitoring and reporting on communications effectiveness.
• Provide general administrative support to the Communications team.
