Interns will handle loan document prep, accounting tasks, and regulatory reviews, gaining exposure to commercial lending processes. Interns work full-time on-site, with potential for a hybrid arrangement after training if hired full-time.

Responsibilities

• Complete preliminary review of loan submissions for regulatory and legal compliance.
• Prepare loan documents per credit policy.
• Interpret complex loan documents to set up loans in the loan accounting system.
• Post loan transactions and resolve accounting issues.
• File collateral perfections and releases with agencies.
• Provide ongoing collateral monitoring reports for commercial loans.
• Conduct post-closing review to ensure compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with loan staff to meet customer needs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
