Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in a Business Major preferred with experience in Accounting, Finance, and General Business classes; or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
• For individuals applying, Commerce is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for some roles. The disclosed range estimate is for the Intern job and base pay is $20.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to relationship and portfolio managers by preparing loan documentation, on-boarding new loans, and on-going monitoring of existing loans.
• Conduct financial analysis on companies of diverse industries and sizes.
• Train on credit analysis and underwriting process, including loan structure, cash flow, collateral, competition and industry.
• Complete rotational program in local lines of business including Commercial, Treasury, Trust, Retail and Community Markets.
• Participate in loan committee meetings regarding loan renewals and new requests.
• Attend networking/personal development events.
