Applicants must be enrolled at a university/technical college and commit to the full 12-month internship, with onsite work at the Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI during the school year and breaks.

Qualifications

• Enrolled at a University or Technical College pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Agricultural Business, Banking, or related field.
• Interest in commercial lending and credit analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
• Outstanding organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist with credit analysis, underwriting, and portfolio monitoring by reviewing borrower financial information, loan applications, tax returns, bank statements, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.
• Complete financial statement spreading, cash flow analysis, covenant testing, and related financial reviews.
• Research borrowers, industries, market trends, and peer performance to support underwriting and risk assessment.
• Prepare and organize credit presentations, annual reviews, renewals, loan reviews, and other underwriting documentation.
