Centers Health Care's New Paltz Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing offers a paid CNA training program starting September 8. Eligible candidates who complete the course will be offered a position at our facility.

Located at 1 Jansen Road, New Paltz, NY 12561, the program combines classroom learning with hands-on clinical experience. Applicants must complete sponsored CNA program, hold NY CNA certification, be 18+, and be in good standing.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program.
• Must hold valid NY State CNA Certification.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents in assigned units.
• Report health issues to supervising nurse.
• Assist with personal hygiene (bed baths, shaving).
• Set up meal trays and document intake.
• Feed Residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep Residents' spaces clean and tidy.
• Transport Residents within the facility.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident data.

New Paltz Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation is offering a paid CNA Training Course for eligible candidates! Participants who successfully complete the course will be offered a position in our facility. Space is very limited.

Location of training:

New Paltz for Rehabilitation and Nursing located at 1 Jansen Road New Paltz, New York, 12561 USA

CNA Duties Include:

• Observing Residents in assigned units
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Hiring Requirements:

• Successful completion of the Sponsored CNA program
• Valid NY State CNA Certification
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry
• Ability to work as a team member
