Qualifications

• Must complete the sponsored CNA program.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry.
• Ability to work as a team member.

Responsibilities

• Observe residents in assigned units and report issues.
• Assist with personal hygiene and bed baths.
• Set up meals and document intake.
• Feed residents and provide nutritional supplements.
• Make beds and keep spaces tidy.
• Transport residents within the facility.
• Turn bedridden residents to prevent bedsores.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and facility data.

Paid Training Program -Certified Nursing Assistant, CNA

NEXT CLASS STARTS: TBD!

Once certified, the rates are $18.00

+ $1.00 for No Frills

+$1.25 for Nights and $.75 for Evenings

Cooperstown Center is currently offering fully sponsored Paid CNA Trainingfor eligible candidates who will work at ourSkilled Nursing Facility.

Participants who complete the course will be offered a position in our facility.

Location of Employment (after training):

Cooperstown Center, located in Cooperstown, NY.

CNA Duties Include:

• Observing Residents in assigned units
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Turning bedridden residents to prevent bedsores
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Hiring Requirements:

• Successful completion of theSponsored CNAprogram
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be in good standing with the State Registry
• Ability to work as a team member
