Job summary

Glens Falls Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing is offering a paid CNA training program in Glens Falls, NY. Eligible candidates will be paid while in the class, and participants who complete the course are offered a position in our facility.

The program leads to NY CNA certification and a staff role at Glens Falls Center after graduation. Daily Pay options are available, and the class starts August 31st. Join our team and grow within Centers Health Care family.

Qualifications

• Observe Residents and report health issues to supervisor.
• Respect privacy and maintain confidentiality of resident data.
• Demonstrate compassion and professionalism in care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Observe Residents in assigned units
• Report any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Assist with personal hygiene including bed bath and shaving
• Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake
• Feed Residents and provide nutritional supplements
• Make beds and keep Residents' spaces clean and tidy
• Transport Residents within the Facility
• Maintain confidentiality of all Resident data

Glens Falls Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is offering a Paid CNA Course for eligible candidates!

Participants who successfully complete the course will be offered a position in our facility.

Location of Employment (after training):

Glens Falls Nursing and Rehab located at 152 Sherman Ave, Glens Falls, NY 12801

We now offer Daily Pay through a trusted third-party provider, giving you faster access to your earnings

CNA Duties Include:

• Observing Residents in assigned units
• Reporting any health issues to the supervising nurse
• Taking care of a Resident’s personal hygiene, including bed bath, shaving etc
• Setting up of meal trays, and documenting food/fluid intake
• Feeding Residents & serving nutritional supplements
• Making beds & keeping the Residents’ space clean and tidy
• Transporting Residents within the Facility
• Maintaining Confidentiality of all Resident & Facility data

Hiring Requirements:

• Successful completion of theSponsored CNAprogram
• Valid NY State CNA Certification
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be in good standing with State Registry
• Ability to work as a team member
