Job summary

GE Vernova offers a one-year Gas Turbine Assembler Apprentice Program in Greenville that blends learning at a local community college with hands-on work in unit and rotor assembly, casings, and base integration. Apprentices receive paid training and develop essential manufacturing skills while working toward a GE Vernova certificate.

You will rotate through multiple stations, receive mentoring, and participate in safety training, print reading, and tooling.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical and mathematical aptitude.
• Maintain a minimum average grade of 'C' or higher on all coursework.
• Strong team member attitude; work closely with apprentices and trainers.
• Ability and eagerness to learn.
• Great communication skills.
• Manufacturing or applicable mechanical/electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• On-the-job training with rotations in Unit Assembly, Rotor Assembly/Repair, Casings Assembly and Unit-to-Base.
• Mentoring, teamwork, and ongoing reviews.
• Training in safety, basic measurements, tooling, assembly, print reading, and other manufacturing processes.
• Successfully complete program and earn GE Vernova Gas Turbine Assembly Technician Certificate.
• Hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment.
