Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to maintain a minimum average grade of “C” or higher on all coursework.

• Willingness to learn and good communication skills.
• Manufacturing or mechanical/electrical experience.

Responsibilities

• Year-long program combining on-the-job training with coursework at a local community college.
• Rotations in Unit Assembly, Rotor Assembly/Repair, Casings Assembly and Unit-to-Base.
• Apprentices paid during training; tuition, fees and books paid by available grants and GE tuition reimbursement.
• Earn GE Vernova Gas Turbine Assembly Technician Certificate upon completion.
• Participate in team activities for continuous improvement and lean manufacturing projects.
