Job summary

LCS Living is offering a full-time Accounting internship for 12 weeks, May through August, at our Des Moines, IA location. Interns will work on meaningful projects, collaborate with leaders, and present outcomes to senior leaders at the end of the program.

We look for students majoring in Accounting or Economics with a strong MS Excel background, exposure to financial statements, budgeting and analysis. A competitive rate and mentorship opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a college/university program majoring in Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Strong background in MS Excel and reporting.
• Background in financial statement review, budgeting, and analysis preferred.
• Exposure to general ledger and GAAP accounting beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization.
• Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments.
• Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.
• Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship.
