Job summary

LCS invites students to participate in a 12-week Accounting internship from May through August, full-time at 40 hours per week. Interns will work on meaningful projects, present outcomes to senior leaders, and gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.

We look for students majoring in Accounting or related fields with strong Excel skills and an interest in budgeting, financial statements, and GAAP understanding.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program majoring in Accounting, Economics or related field.
  • Strong background in MS Excel, and reporting.
  • Background in financial statement review, budgeting, and analysis preferred
  • Exposure to general ledger, GAAP Accounting beneficial.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to real projects that will be implemented within the organization.
  • Collaborate with leaders and team members across departments.
  • Participate in professional development and networking opportunities.
  • Present your project and summer experience to the senior leadership team at the conclusion of the internship.
  • Gain a broad understanding of our industry and operations through mentorship, training, and shadowing opportunities.

About the program

The Accounting internship is a full-time, 12-week program (40 hours per week) running from May through August. Interns will gain hands-on professional experience by contributing to meaningful projects that have a direct impact on the business. The program will conclude with a presentation to the senior leadership team, highlighting both the project outcomes and the overall internship experience. Throughout the summer, interns will also gain broad exposure to the organization and its operations.
