Job summary

TensorWave Inc. in Las Vegas is seeking an Accounting Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting day-to-day accounting operations.

You’ll work with our Accounting and Finance teams on accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close while building a practical understanding of how an accounting function operates. You’ll assist with data entry, document organization, and ad hoc analysis, while upholding confidentiality and compliance.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles.
• Proficient in Excel; pivot tables and formulas a plus.
• Able to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Responsibilities

• Assist with data entry and upkeep of accounting records.
• Support AP/AR teams with administrative tasks.
• Prepare draft journal entries and assist with reconciliations.
• Support month-end and year-end close activities.
• Organize and maintain financial documents.
• Assist with audit prep and internal reporting requests.
• Perform simple financial analysis and ad hoc projects.
• Follow company policies and confidentiality requirements.
