Job summary

Compass Corporate is seeking an accounting intern to join the New Business team in Field Accounting in Charlotte, NC. The internship runs May 17th through Aug 6th, 2027, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

You will support the field operations with financial activities and internal service across the organization. The role offers hands-on experience with monthly P&L, policy adherence, journal entries, and special projects.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's in Accounting with a minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite (Excel, Word, Access).
• Excellent communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Assist with monthly profit and loss statements reflecting client contracts.
• Ensure accounting conforms to Group Accounting Policies and internal controls.
• Validate field requests and prepare journal entries as needed.
• Contribute to special projects as assigned.
