Job summary

Compass Group USA in Charlotte, NC is offering a paid Field Accounting Services Internship with the Quality Team from May 17 to Aug 6, 2027 (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8 AM-5 PM). This internship provides hands-on experience in financial support for field operations and internal service excellence across the organization.

You will assist with monthly close review, audit tasklists, client payment reviews, and trend reporting while developing professional skills in accounting and internal controls

Qualifications

• Pursuing Bachelor's in accounting, rising junior or senior, GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access).

Responsibilities

• Assist with ensuring monthly profit and loss statements reflect results for the period via close exception reporting.
• Create trend reporting for key customers.
• Perform audits on day-to-day and closing tasklists for Field Accounting associates.
• Review client-facing payments and documentation for accuracy.
• Use all available tools to maintain high internal control.
• Special projects as assigned.
