Compass Corporate in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Financial & Technical Accounting Internship for May 17–Aug 6, 2027 (40 hours/week, Mon-Fri, 8 AM–5 PM). This paid internship focuses on near-term accounting close, asset valuations, and IFRS audit support.

You will assist with acquisitions accounting, prepare and analyze data, and gain hands-on experience in a corporate finance environment.

Qualifikationen

• Rising junior or above majoring in Accounting.
• Ability to work independently with strong problem solving skills.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Excel required.

Aufgaben

• Assist in monthly accounting close, entries, and reconciliations for acquisitions.
• Assist in purchase accounting for acquired/divested entities.
• Calculate fair value of acquired intangible assets.
• Collect and track records for the annual IFRS audit.
• Research accounting standards for technical queries.
• Maintain the Technical Accounting Database.
• Participate in planning and coordinating CPE courses.
