Healthcare Services Group, Inc. (HCSG) seeks an Environmental Services Manager in Training in California. This structured 12-week, paid program teaches you how to manage an account and oversee housekeeping, laundry, and floor care at a long-term care facility.

You will receive hands-on and computer-based training to lead staff, ensure policy compliance, and coordinate with facility administrators. The role offers a clear pathway to independent environmental services leadership.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Must have computer skills with the ability to maintain records and complete reports, including web-based reporting.
• Residency within the service area is required.
• Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and supervising housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff.
• Learn to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and federal/state requirements.
• Participate in staff training, development, and scheduling.
• Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
• Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff, effectively communicating directives.
• All other duties as assigned.
