Job summary

Mohawk Industries is a leading global flooring manufacturer seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Line Operator for its production floor. You will keep the line area clean, monitor quality, wrap padding rolls, and move materials as needed to maintain smooth operation.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and the flexibility to work in a noisy, non-climate controlled environment. Prior manufacturing experience is preferred but not required for motivated applicants.

Qualifications

• Basic math calculations required.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow instructions.
• Maintain acceptable attendance.
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Able to bend, crouch and stoop.
• Work in non-climate controlled, noisy production floor.

Responsibilities

• Keep area clean at all times.
• Wrap finished padding rolls in plastic.
• Monitor and operate padding lines.
• Weigh padding and report to Roll-up Operator.
• Troubleshoot jams and machine issues with maintenance.
• Assist with line cleanup and housekeeping.
• Report safety, quality, or production deficiencies.
