Job summary

HCA Florida Mercy Hospital in Miami is seeking an RN for PACU PRN to provide high‑quality post‑operative care in a fast‑paced setting. You will manage airway support, monitor cardiac and neurological status, and respond quickly to complications as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license (Registered Nurse) required.
• Associate Degree required.
• 1 year minimum RN experience in PACU.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient-centered care in the PACU with evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams for optimal outcomes.
• Apply the nursing process, critical thinking and leadership to ensure safe care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor changes, and document thoroughly.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment and follow‑up.
