Texas Health Resources is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for PACU (PRN) at our Frisco location. The role supports a fast-paced, high-volume unit with focus on patient assessment, planning and nursing interventions. BSN preferred and ASC/ICU/ED experience strongly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Diploma Nurse Program.
• BSN preferred.
• One year of experience as a registered nurse in PACU, ICU or ED strongly preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req And
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req And
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req And
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support Upon Hire Pref And

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
• Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant other’s need for information.
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out-of-hospital transfers.

Associate degree in Nursing

Diploma Nurse Program

RN license

BSN preferred

BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support

ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support

PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life Support
