Texas Health Frisco is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the PACU Main, full-time days. Schedule includes three 12-hour shifts or four 9-hour shifts per week, with on-call requirements. Requires an accredited nursing program degree or diploma; BSN preferred; PACU or ICU RN experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Nursing program or Diploma Nurse Program.
• BSN preferred.
• RN PACU experience highly preferred.
• In lieu of PACU experience, two years ICU RN experience strongly preferred.
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire; BCLS, ACLS, PALS requirements.

Responsibilities

• Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
• Assesses the patient.
• Plans the care of the patient.
• Intervenes as appropriate.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions.
• Incorporates age-specific safety/infection control measures.
• Initiates information for patients and families.
• Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift and during transfers.

Work hours: Full Time - 36 Hours; Days; Three 12-hour shifts or four 9-hour shifts per week. Scheduled shifts may be 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM or 10:00 AM - 7:30 PM, including on-call requirements
