Job summary

Georgia Endoscopy Center is hiring a Pre Op PACU RN, PRN. The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality care for all patients as they emerge from anesthesia, ensuring safety, comfort and privacy at all times.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited RN program with GA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and preferred PACU experience. The center supports a comprehensive benefits package and a team-based environment in a surgical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in GA.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.

Responsibilities

• Provide total postoperative nursing care for patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with task performance, sterile technique and monitoring.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy; assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care through discharge.
