Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.
• New Hampshire Registered Nurse license or Compact State license.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor vital signs and assess patients postoperatively.
• Provide comfort measures and manage pain relief.
• Administer IV fluids and medications as prescribed.
• Educate patients and families about recovery progress.
• Assist with discharge planning for a smooth transition home.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care.
• Document postoperative care accurately in medical records.
